This art series is part of my MFA studies at Lesley University College of Art and Design. It is an intimate portrayal of my personal journey, layered with narratives from an interracial relationship and stitched together with the threads of family. Each piece is an exploration of intersecting histories, creating a rich tapestry that echoes the intricacies of human connections and celebrates the strength of familial bonds.
This series invites the viewer into a contemplative space, bridging gaps between individual and collective histories. Through the lens of personal identity and cultural heritage, this collection is more than just artworks—it's a testament to love, struggle, and growth, uniting generations in a shared exploration and shedding light on the nuanced ties that bind us together.
